7 7gw~~ ORDINANCE N0. 3 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFrCATION AND „ AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY~OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY of EUGENE FINDS THAT: .Pursuant to the provisions of DRS ~27.2~5 and Sections 9.275 and 9.668 through 9.654 of the Eugene Code, ~97~, the City Council has the authority and r. espons i bi 1 i ty, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning classification of property w7 thi n the Ci ty of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Cammi ssi on, the materials trans- mi tted therewith, and the evi deuce presented before the Planning Commi ss i an and this City Council , the request far zone change classification i s i n con- formance wi th the General Plan; there i s a publ i c need for the change i n zane; and the public need can best be served by changing the c1 assi fi cation of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, ~r Based upon the~foregaing, the City Council hereby adapts as its own the speci fic kaffi rmati ve findings contained i n the Planning Department staff notes of March 4, 1950., and the Planning Commission minutes of March 4, ~ 1980., far the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section ~~. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971.,, the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the fol 1 owl ng change of zone: Portion of Tax Lot 4400~~-Assessor's Map ~7-03--2Owl O, as more par- ti cut arly described on the attached Exhibit "A", l oeated north of Cal Young Road and east of Willakenzie Road: Change of zane from R-2/PD Limited Mul ti pl e~Fami ly Residential District with Planned Unit Development Procedures to RG/PD Garden Apartment District with Planned Unit Development Procedures. 5ection 2.
