z 80-5 <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~ g(p( <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.275 and 9,668 <br />through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission <br />and this City Council , the request for zone change classification i s i n con- <br />formance with the General Plan; there i s a publ i c need for the change i n zone; <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff notes <br />of March 4, 1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of March 4, 1980, for the <br />reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9,278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fallowing change of zone: <br />Tax Lots 2302, 2306, 2307, 2308, 23D9--Assessor's Map 17-03-20-1 0, <br />as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A", located <br />west of Coburg Road, north of Wi 11 akenzi a Road, and east of Sheldon <br />Parksi de Development <br />Change of zone from RA Suburban Residential District to RP/SR <br />Residential Professional District with Site Review Procedures , <br />said site review procedures addressing concerns as set forth i n <br />Exhibit "B", attached. <br />Section 2. The Planning Director be and i s hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, to show the foregoing <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
