ORDSNANCE NO. /~~ 19 <br />An Ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described <br />Street, to'-Wlt. <br />The Southerly 20 feet of Lots ,16~ 17~ 18, 19, 20, <br />and ~1, Second Addition to Sw~eetbriar~ as platted <br />and recorded on File 73, Slide 305, Lane County, <br />Oregon flat Eecords. <br />RESERVING herein all public utilaty~ sidewalk, and <br />slope easements established as part of the plat of <br />Second Addition to S~weetbxiar Subdivision as platted <br />and recorded on. File 73, Slide 305, of the Lane <br />County, Oregon plat records and the right to enter <br />in and ~.pon the same for purposes of construction, <br />reconstructions maintenance and repairs. ~stimac SCI 79-8~. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FoLLQV~S: <br />Section 1. The City ~o~ncil Q~ the City of Eugene herein ini- <br />tiates the vacation proceedings on its own authority without peti- <br />tion or consent of the property owners, e.~cept as provided by sta- <br />tute, of the above described street. <br />Section 2. A hearing shall be held ~.pon the proposal to vacate <br />the street as herein provided, and the hearing shall be held on the <br />11th day of ~'une, 1980, at noon, Pacific Daylight Time of said date, <br />at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, at which time <br />all persons will be heard upon objections or suggestions with re- <br />gard to the vacation, and at said tame the Council will provide for <br />the vacation of the street or deny such:~~racation, and in case the <br />vacation is made, will provide and make provision for any damages <br />sustained by local <br />assessment, <br />Section 3.
