AMEND; G 4'~E ~G~~~~G MAP of THE CITY CF EUGENE, OREGON <br />- ,~ <br />THE CI?'Y COUNCIL 4F TAE CITY 4F EUGENE FIi~DS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.56$ <br />- through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and respansib i 1 ity, subject t~o the 1 imitations contained therein, to change <br />. the zoning cl ass i f i cat i on~ of property within the City of Eugene; <br />. Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans-~ , <br />mitted therewith, aid the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Counc i 1, the reruest for zone ch-ange classification i s i n conformance <br />with the General P1 an; there i s a publ i c need far the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />. ~ ~ NO~I, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />notes of February 5, 19SO, and the Planning Department supplemental staff notes <br />of May 12, 1950, and Planning Commission minutes of February 5, 1984, and City <br />Council minutes of March 24, 1980, and May 12, 1980, for the reasons set forth <br />therein, and <br />THE CITY 4F EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS F4LL0l~S: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.275 of the Eugene Code; 1971, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following .change of zone:. <br />Tax Lots 4300, 4341, 4400, and 4544--Assessor's Map 1804-03, and Tax Lots <br />2100, Zg40, and 3004--Assessor's Map 18-44-03-2 0, as mare particularly <br />. described on the attached exhibit A, located between Bertelsen Road and <br />Bailey Hi 11 Road, west of Faur Oaks Grange Road. <br />- - Change of zone from County RA Suburban District to City RA Suburban <br />Residential District. . <br />Section 2. That the zoning. designations provided far herein shall <br />become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDINANCE--Page l of 2 <br />
