City Council, the reguest for zone change. classification is in can- formance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the pub 1 i c need can best be~ served by changing the cl ass i f i cat ion of the - property; . NDw, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adapts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff notes of April 1, 1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of April 1, 198C, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLL4w5: Section 1, As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning map and t e zon i ng ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the following change of gone: Tax Lot 8600--Assessors Map 1~7-04-36-3 1, as more particularly described on the attached exhibit A, located on the southeast corner of~West 12th Avenue and Grant Street.
