ATTACHMENT C <br />M I N U T E S <br />Council Committee on Intergovernmental Relations <br />McNutt Room—Eugene City Hall <br />777 Pearl Street—Eugene, Oregon <br />April 29, 2009 <br />1:15 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Betty Taylor, Chair; Andrea Ortiz, George Poling, members; Mayor Kitty Piercy; Brenda <br />Wilson, Jessica Mumme, Mike Penwell, Paul Klope, Mike McKerrow, Steve Nystrom, <br />Peter Ruffier, Jeff Petry, staff. <br />1.Call to Order and Review Agenda <br />Ms. Taylor called the meeting of the CCIGR to order at 1:37 p.m. <br />Ms. Taylor confirmed there were no changes to the agenda. <br />2.Approval of Minutes (4/1/09 and 4/8/09) <br /> Mr. Poling, seconded by Ms. Ortiz, moved to approve the minutes of the April 1 <br />and 8, 2009 CCIGR meetings. The motion passed unanimously, 3:0. <br />3.Review Pending Legislation <br />HB 2080A – Relating to gray water; declaring an emergency. <br />Ms. Wilson provided a brief description of HB 2080A to the committee members and noted that staff was <br />currently recommending both monitor and Priority 3 support positions regarding the bill. <br />Ms. Piercy and Mr. Poling each stated they wished to have the bill supported. <br />Mr. Poling, seconded by Ms. Ortiz, moved to adopt a Priority 3 support <br />position regarding HB 2080A. <br />Ms. Wilson, responding to a request for further information from Ms. Ortiz regarding the bill, noted that <br />HB 2080A was moving forward from the House into the Senate. Mr. Poling noted that the bill would <br />provide for added protections to local water supplies. <br />Ms. Taylor called for a vote on Mr. Poling’s previously stated motion.
