<br />(adopted February 2002, Resolution #4705) because its boundaries include both city and non-city <br />addresses. <br /> <br />The Neighborhood Initiative Action Plan, adopted November 23, 2005, includes the action item <br />“Update Neighborhood Organization Recognition Policy and model charter to reflect current Council <br />policy.” It is possible that after City Council reviews and revises the NORP, changes to neighborhood <br />association charters would be expected. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br /> <br />The council may adopt or remand to the organization any or all of the revised charters. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The City Manager recommends adoption of the revised charters, with the understanding that revisions to <br />the NORP may require additional amendments. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br /> <br />Move to adopt the revised charters for Cal Young Neighborhood Association, Santa Clara Community <br />Organization, South University Neighborhood Association, and Whiteaker Community Council. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />A.
