18653 by law required and nv valid objections have been ~r~ade at the hear- ing or filed. The consent of the owners of the abutting property has been duly and regularly filed in the proceedings and the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of the public utility easement. Section 2. The hearing was held on the llth day of June, 195, at noon, Pacific Daylight Tirne, at the Council Chambers, City Hall, Eugene, Lane county, Oregon, and all matters necessary to be done in the premises have been duly and regularly completed. Section 3. The hexeinabove described public utility easement is hereby vacated, and the public utility easement so vacated shall re- vert pursuant to the statutes of the State of Oregon. Section 4. The City Recorder is hereby directed to file a cer- tified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Lane County, Oregon, together with a map or~plat of said property, and a certi- fied copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Lane County Assessor and another certified copy shall be filed with the Lane County Surveyor. Section 5. That the matters contained herein concern the public welfare and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
