Q AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 through 9.654 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Council, the request far zone change classification is in con- formance w~ th the General Plan ; there i s a pub 1 i c need far the change i n zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classific anon of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of June 3, 1950, and the Planning Commission minutes of June 3, 1980, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY DF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to ref 1 ect the fo 11 awi ng change of zone: Tax Lots 6710, 6711, 6712, and portions of Tax Lots 6707, 6705, and 6709-Assessor's Map 15-03-09-2 0. As more part i cu 1 art y described on the attached Exhibit A, 1 oc ated south of 30th Avenue, east of Spring Boulevard at Dogwood Drive and Kimberly Drive. Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, Timber-raising DTStr~ct to City RA Suburban Res7dential District. Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing change of ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2
