z 80-12 <br />ORDINANCE N0. -~~~-- <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE zONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 <br />through 9.684•af the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and respons~bil~ty, subject to the limitations contained therein, to Chan e <br />the zanin classification f g <br />g o property w~th~n the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />m~tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission <br />and this City Council , the request for zone change classification i s i n con- <br />formance with the General P1 an; there i s a pub 1 i c need for the than e i n zone <br />and the ublic need •g <br />p can best be served by changing the class~f~cation of the <br />property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its awn the <br />specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes <br />of June 3, 1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of June 3, 1980, far the <br />reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereb <br />y <br />amended to ref 1 ect the fo ] 1 owl ng change of zone : <br />A portion of Tax Lot 600--Assessor's Map 18-03-09-2 0 <br />As more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located south <br />of 30th Avenue, east of Spring Boulevard at Dogwood Drive and Kimberly <br />Drive. <br />Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, Timber-raising <br />D~str7ct to City RA/PD Suburban Residential District with Planned Unit <br />Development procedures. <br />Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1911, to show the foregoing change <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
