The City Recorder is hereby directed to immediately <br />publish once. each week fox four consecuti:ire weeks in a newspaper <br />published in Eugene, Lane County, ~re~on, notice of the proposed <br />vacation. The notice shall gi~~re a description of the area to be <br />vacated as herein set out; state the date then this ordinance was <br />passed, the name of any petitioners petitioning for the vacation, <br />and the date when the petition, together with any objections or <br />remonstrances which may be made in ~rriting and filed with the <br />Recorder of the City of Eugene prior to the date of the hearing, <br />will be heard and considered. <br />Section 4. The City Recordea~ shall forthwith and within Five <br />days after the first publication of the notice post or cause to be <br />posted, at or near each end of the proposed ~racation a copy of the <br />foregoing, which shall be headed ~"Not~.ce of Alley Vacation,' and <br />which notice shall be pasted in at least two conspicuous places in <br />or on the area proposed to be ~~racated. <br />The posting and the first day of publication of the notice <br />shall be not less than twenty-eight ~28~ days before the time set <br />for hearing. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />0th day of Se tember, 980 <br />City R c rder <br />Approved by the N~ayor this <br />1~ ~~ September 198 <br />Mayor <br />ordinance -- 2. <br />
