all ~n-~ ORDINANCE N0. g OI AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE zONING ~iAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City Council has~the authority and respansibil.ity, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change ~ ' the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials transw rnitted therewith; and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Counci 1, the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance with the General Pi an; there i s a publ is need for the change i n ~ zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the forego~i ng, the City Counci 1 hereby adopts as its own the specific affirr~ative findings contained in the Planning Department Staff Notes of August 5, 1980, and Planning Commission minutes of August 5, 1980, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORD,~IN AS FOLLOI~S: .~ ~ Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the ~. zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to ref 1 ect the fol 1 owi ng change of zone Tax Lot 301-wAssessor's Map 18-03-03 as more particularly described -- on the attached Exhibit A, located on the east side of laurel Hill Drive, south of Chandler Street. ~~ . Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural , Grazing, and Timber- ~.. Raising to City RA Suburban Residential District. Section ?. That the zoning designations provided for herein shall become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary . Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Section 3. The Planning Director be and i s hereby authorized and directed to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1911, to show the foregoing ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2
