sDBC ~o-~ ORDINANCE N0. ~_p~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY CCUNCI L OF THE CITY CF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provi si ans of CRS X27. ~l5 and Sections 8.813 t hraugh 8.845 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the sign district classifications of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence .presented before the Planning Commission and this Council, the request for sign district change of classification is in conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign Code as required by Section 8.834 of the Eugene Code, 1971, . . Based upon the. foregoing, .the City Council hereby adopts as its awn the specific affirmative findings cant ai ned i n the Planning Department. staff notes of July 8, 1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of July. 8, 1980, for the reasons set forth herein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES oRDAI N AS FCLLO~S Section 1. ~ As .provided by Section 8.55 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the sign district map and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the fallowing change of sign district: Tax Lot 1100--Assessor's Map 17-04-Z5-4 4 and Tax Lot 1900--Assessor s Map 1704-~5-4 4, as more particul arty described on the attached Exhibit A located an 3rd Avenue between Ilan Buren and Jackson streets.
