The demand for parking for those prohibited <br />from parking within the Downtown Development District <br />by subsection ~.2~ of section 5.232 of this code; <br />~d~.. The ability of the city to meet the financial <br />obligations of existing or proposed parking facilities; <br />~e~ when considering the charges for facilities <br />in px~ximity to the Eugene Performing Arts Center, <br />the 1e~rel of tax support the city provides to that <br />center. <br />Section 7. Section 5.335 is hereby added to the Eugene Code, <br />1971, to provide: <br />5.335 4n-Stxeet Parkin ~tetex Rates. <br />~l The on--street parking :meter rates for the city <br />are hereby established at $0.25 for one hour and $i.Qa for five <br />hours. <br />~2~ The city manages.- when designating parking meter <br />zones and time limitations by admi~,istrative action may adjust <br />the time received for depositing less than a twenty-five cent <br />coin to approximate the rates established in subsection ~l} of <br />this section. In making this adjustment consideration shall be <br />given to the cost of modifying the parking meters affected and <br />the demand fox par~.ing in the zone . <br />~3~ when there is a limited supply of parking meter <br />parts, or when nQ parts are available, the city manager may <br />Ordinance - 3 <br />
