(H 80-4) ORDINANCE N0. ~L~ AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE FAIRMOUNT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH A HISTORIC LANDMARK WITHIN THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to Sections 2.402, 2.407, and 2.408 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to designate certain buildings, structures, other physical objects, including their sites, and geographic areas within the City as Historic Landmarks , Based upon the report received from the Historic Review Board, the materials that have been transmitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Historic Review Board and this council, the application for designa- tion as a Historic Landmark is consistent with applicable statewide and locally adopted plans, and the Fairmount Presbyterian Church, including its site, far which Historic Landmark designation has been requested meets one ar more of the criteria required for Historic Landmark designation. NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Historic Review Board staff notes and minutes of September 25, 1980, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Under authority of Section 2,408 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the Fairmount Presbyterian Church, including its site, which is located on the fo11 owi ng described real property ,i s hereby designated as a Hi stor i c Landmark . Tax Lots 21 and 22, B1 ock 12, amended p1 at of Fai rmaunt, as p1 atted and recorded in Volume 25, page 289, in Lane County, Oregon, Deed Records, in Lane County, Oregon. Section 2, The Fairmount Presbyterian Church, including its site, shall be controlled by the restrictions set forth in Exhibit "A" and by Sections 2.409 through 2,411 of the Eugene Code, 1971.
