CRD INANCE NO , ~ ~~ ~~ <br />An Ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described <br />streets and alleys, to-wit: <br />29th Avenue between Amazon Parkway and Hilyard <br />Street; 32nd Avenue, from the west margin of <br />Hilyard Street west a distance of 178 feet; the <br />alley between 32nd Avenue and 33rd Avenue, from <br />the west margin of Hilyard Street west a dis- <br />tance of 176.5 feet; the alley between 33rd Ave- <br />nue and 34th Avenue from the west margin of Hil- <br />yard Street west a distance of 176.93 feet, all <br />as mare particularly described in Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by ref- <br />erence. City of Eugene Sv 8~-4~ <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein ini- <br />tiates the vacation proceedings on its own authority without peti- <br />tion or consent of the property owners, except as provided by statute, <br />of the above described streets and alleys. <br />Section 2. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to vacate <br />the streets and alleys as herein provided, and the hearing shall be <br />held on~the 14th day of ~Tanuary, 1981, at noon Pacific Standard Time <br />of said date, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, <br />at which time all persons will be heard upon objections ar sugges- <br />tions with regard to the vacation, and at said time the Council will <br />provide for the vacation of the streets and alleys or deny such <br />vacation, and in case the vacation is made, will provide and make <br />provision for any damages sustained by local assessment, <br />Section 3. The City Recorder is hereby directed to immediately <br />publish once each week far four conGecutive weeks in a newspaper pub- <br />1is~~ed in Eugene, Lane County, Qregan, notice of the proposed vaca-- <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
