z 80-25 ORDINANCE N0. _I87y ~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING ,THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 end 9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority and respons~b~l~ty, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning classif~cat7on of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in con- formance with the General P1 an; there is a publ is need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of October 7, 1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of October 1, 1980, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the zon~nq map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the following change of zone: All or portions of Tax Lots 1300, 1400, 1500, and 1600--Assessor's Map 17-03-18-4 1, and Tax Lots 2000 and 2900--Assessor's Map 17-03-18, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located south of Greenacres Road, east of Delta Highway. Change of zone from C-21SR Community Commercial District with Site Review procedures to RPISR Residential Professional District with Site Review procedures, said Site Review procedures addressing con- cerns as set forth i n Exhibit B attached .
