2 80-25 <br />ORDINANCE N0. '' <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE AND SIGN DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND SIGN <br />DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT; <br />Pursuant to the provisions of OR5 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and <br />9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein to than e the <br />q <br />zoning and sign district classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Council, the request for zone change and sign district change of <br />classification is in conformance with the General Plan; there is a public need <br />for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the <br />c 1 as s i f i c at i on of the property; 4 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its awn <br />the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />notes of October 7, 1980, and the Planning Commission minutes of October 7, <br />1980, for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 9.278 and 8.625 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district chan es are hereb <br />.g y <br />amended to ref 1 ect the fo 11 owe nq ch ange of zone and s ~ gn d ~ str i ct <br />All or portions of Tax Lots 1800 and 1801--Assessor's Map 17-03-18, <br />as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A. <br />,~ <br />Change of zone from RP/SR Residential Professional District with <br />Site Review procedures to C-21SR Community Commercial district with <br />Site Review procedures, said Site Review procedures addressing con- <br />cerns as set forth i n Exhibit B attached, and application of the <br />Integrated Shopping Sign District. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
