ORDINANCE NO. ~ S 7y S <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FAEES ~'OR THE CITY <br />OPERATED SHUTTLE BUS; ADDING SECTION 5.385 TO <br />THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AMENDING SECTION 5.990 <br />OF THAT CODE; ESTABLISHING FEBRUARY 1, 1981 AS <br />THE EFFECTIVE DATE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY 4F EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section ~.. There is hereby added to the Eugene Code, 1971, a <br />new section, to be cumbered end pro~ride: <br />5.385 Shuttle Bus Fares. No person shall ride the city op- <br />erated shuttle bus without paying the fare established <br />herein. The single round-trip fare shall be $0.50 and the <br />monthly fare shall be $14.00. The fares shall be collected as <br />directed by the city manager and may be sold on an annual basis <br />or any part thereof,, <br />Section 2. Subsection ~4~ of Section 5.990 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, is hereby amended to provide: <br />5.990 Penalties S~,eci~'ic. <br />~_4~ Violation of sect~;ons 5.285, 5, 385, 5.565, 5.575, <br />5.580 or 5.585 shall be punishable by a fine nvt exceeding <br />$25.00. <br />Sectian 3.
