<br />M I N U T E S <br /> <br /> <br />Eugene City Council <br />Public Hearing/Work Session <br />Council Chamber <br />777 Pearl Street—Eugene, Oregon <br /> May 18, 2009 <br /> 8 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCILORS PRESENT: Alan Zelenka, Mike Clark, Jennifer Solomon, George Poling, Andrea <br />Ortiz, Betty Taylor, George Brown, Chris Pryor. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Kitty Piercy called the meeting of the Eugene City Council to order. She encouraged everyone to <br />turn in their ballots, noting that the election would conclude on the following day. <br /> <br />1. PUBLIC HEARING: <br />An Ordinance Concerning Land Use Regulations in the Downtown Plan Area and Notice for Land Use <br />Applications; Amending Sections 9.2171, 9.2173, 9.2175, 9.3405, 9.3410, 9.4085, 9.4290, 9.4530, <br />9.5500, 9.7210., 9.7220, 9.7315, 9.7335, 9.7415, 9.7440, 9.7445, 9.7520, 9.7545, 9.7560, 9.7615, 9.7635, <br />9.7665, 9.7685, 9.8030 of the Eugene Code, 1971; and Adding Section 9.8007 to that Code <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Sarah Medary indicated that Planning and Development staff members were <br />available to answer any questions. There were none. <br /> <br />Mayor Piercy reviewed the guidelines for public testimony and opened the public hearing. Seeing no one <br />who wished to testify, she closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC HEARING: <br />Resolution 4977 Adopting an Amendment to the Systems development Charges Administrative Fee <br />and Amending Resolution No. 4900 <br /> <br />Ms. Medary indicated that staff was also available to answer any questions that might arise. There were <br />none. <br /> <br />Mayor Piercy opened the public hearing.
