CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br />The City Manager recommends that the council set the compensation and benefit package, and <br />approve the allocation of funds from the contingency account, as well as approve the Police <br />Commission work plan. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTIONS <br />Move to approve the Police Commission work plan for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2006. <br /> <br />Move to set the salary for the Police Auditor at Range ____ on the City of Eugene exempt salary <br />schedule. <br /> <br />Move to provide the benefit package as outlined in Attachment C, the basic package for the <br />position of Police Auditor. <br /> <br />Move to allocate up to $17,000 from the general fund contingency for the purpose of recruitment <br />and selection expenses of the Police Auditor; the funds to be allocated to the Human Resources <br />and Risk Services Department. <br /> <br />Move to hold a specific public forum at the City Council meeting on April 10, 2006, to hear <br />community comments on the auditor candidate profile. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />A.
