NOW, THEREFORE,

<br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

<br />Section 1
<br />. The Metro Plan, Chapter I, Introduction, Purpose Section, is hereby amended
<br />to add and provide as follows:
<br />In order to achieve timely compliance with their statutory obligations under 2007 Or Laws
<br />Chapter 650, the Cities of Eugene and Springfield and Lane County adopt the following
<br />forecasts for their respective jurisdictional areas:

<br />. The findings set forth in attached Exhibit A are adopted as findings in
<br />support of this Ordinance.
<br />Section 3
<br /> . If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of the
<br />Ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,
<br />such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding
<br />shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof.
