discussed and reviewed the recommendations and had done some wordsmithing to “smooth it out.” He <br />believed this demonstrated the dedication and support to the Police Auditor position that the council <br />possessed. <br /> <br />Councilor Clark thanked the committee members for their work. He was glad they were finally done. He <br />was happy that the ordinance was before the council. He observed that as they now had a nationally <br />recognized police auditor and a much stronger ordinance in place. He felt this was the best opportunity they <br />had “in a long time” to see successful police oversight. <br /> <br />Councilor Zelenka took the opportunity to welcome Mr. Gissiner to the office of the Police Auditor.
