Address <br /> neighborhood odor complaints and community concerns regarding odors. <br /> <br />Project Trigger: Construction of gravity thickeners. <br />Type of Project 100% Performance <br /> <br />Estimated Project Cost $2,300,000 <br />(2004 Dollars): <br /> <br />Phasing: Budgeted for FY2008/09 <br /> <br /> Project Name: Parallel Primary/Secondary Peak Flow Management <br /> <br /> Description: Piping, pumping, and flow split boxes to enable primary and secondary <br /> treatment to be operated in parallel <br /> <br /> Justification: This project expands the peak wet weather treatment capacity to 277 mgd <br /> through flow management techniques. <br /> <br /> Project Driver: DEQ requirement that the peak wet weather flow (5-year, 24-hour rain <br /> event) be treated by the E/S WPCF and meet secondary effluent <br /> standards (diverted blended flow receives equivalent of primary <br /> treatment). <br /> <br /> Project Trigger: Elimination of sanitary sewer overflows by the year 2010. <br /> Type of Project 100% Capacity <br /> <br /> Estimated Project Cost $11,000,000 <br /> (2004 Dollars): <br /> <br /> Phasing: Budgeted for FY2008/09 <br /> <br /> <br />
