No action is <br />being requested from the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />H1N1 was declared a pandemic in 2009 by the World Health Organization. Lane County Public Health <br />is the lead agency for health-related emergencies such as a pandemic influenza in Lane County. The <br />City has established an H1N1 Task Force with representatives from each department to guide <br />preparation and communication activities within the organization.
