Included in our packet should be information about the original formation of <br />the police oversight system. <br /> <br />Vote: <br /> Passed 7:1 (Taylor opposed) <br /> <br /> <br />Item B – Next Steps on Facility Reserve <br /> <br />Move/second: Zelenka/Clark <br />I move to direct the City Manager to initiate a public forum for the purpose of seeking community input <br />on options for City Hall and police facilities and bring back the results to council prior to council break <br />on August 13. <br /> <br /> Move/second: Poling/Solomon <br /> I move to direct the City Manager to attempt to negotiate a purchase and sale agreement (PSA) <br /> for the property at 300 Country Club Road for a price to be determined following completion of an <br /> appraisal, and to make the PSA contingent upon council approval of the purchase price. <br /> <br /> Following council discussion and clarification of the first motion, the substitute motion was <br /> withdrawn. <br /> <br /> A friendly amendment directing the City Manager to proceed concurrently with an appraisal and <br /> other due diligence items for acquisition of the 300 Country Club Road property was accepted. <br /> <br />Vote: <br />Passed 7:1 (Taylor opposed) <br /> <br /> <br />Z:\CMO\2009 Council Agendas\M091012\S091012D-attB.doc <br /> <br />
