Attachment B <br />ORDINANCE NO. ________ <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE JEFFERSON-WESTSIDE SPECIAL <br />AREA ZONE (S-JW); APPLYING THAT ZONE TO SPECIFIC PROPERTIES; <br />AMENDING THE JEFFERSON-FAR WEST REFINEMENT PLAN; AMENDING <br />THE WESTSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN; AMENDING SECTIONS 9.0500, <br />9.2161, 9.2170, 9.2171, 9.8030 AND 9.8865 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; <br />AND ADDING SECTIONS 9.3600, 9.3605, 9.3615, 9.3625, 9.3626, 9.3630, <br />9.3631 AND 9.3640 TO THAT CODE. <br /> THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br /> Section 9.0500 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended by adding the <br />definitions of “Driveway,” “Lot and Parcel,” “Lot Line,” “Residential Building,” and Street-Fronting <br />Lot” and amending the definition for “Interior Lot Line” to provide as follows: <br />(Diagram references need to be inserted throughout) <br />9.0500Definitions <br />. As used in this land use code, unless the context requires otherwise, <br />the following words and phrases mean: <br />Driveway. For purposes of the S-JW Jefferson Westside Special Area Zone <br />provisions at EC 9.3600 through 9.3640, a surface area that is intended, <br />prepared, or used for vehicle access to and about a lot. <br />Interior Lot Line. (See Figure <br />Any lot or parcel line that is not a front lot line. <br />9.0500 Lot Lines, Lot Frontage, Lot Width, Lot Depth.) <br />For purposes of the S- <br />JW Jefferson Westside Special Area Zone provisions at EC 9.3600 through <br />9.3640, any portion of a lot line that does not abut a street or alley. <br />Lot and Parcel. For purposes of the S-JW Jefferson Westside Special Area <br />Zone provisions at EC 9.3600 through 9.3640, “lot” and “parcel” are used <br />interchangeably in all cases, and both terms mean a “Legal Lot,” as defined in <br />EC 9.0500. <br />Lot Line. For purposes of the S-JW Jefferson Westside Special Area Zone <br />provisions at EC 9.3600 through 9.3640, unless more specifically defined in <br />those standards, a lot line is single lot line segment, or continuous series of <br />connected lot line segments. (See EC 9.3631(1)(c).) <br />Residential Building. For purposes of the S-JW Jefferson Westside Special <br />Area Zone provisions at EC 9.3600 through 9.3640, a building that contains <br />one or more dwellings. <br />Street-Fronting Lot. For purposes of the S-JW Jefferson Westside Special <br />Area Zone provisions at EC 9.3600 through 9.3640, a lot or parcel that abuts a <br />
