If there is a problem <br />with vegetation near lines, letters are sent to property owners. A “vegetation cop” helps with <br />enforcement of vegetation near power lines. However, because this is an ongoing issue with power <br />lines, this action item is being continued in the 2009 update, and reworded to say “Continue to <br />educate...” (see Winter Storm # 2 in Appendix A). <br />
