Orders: <br />All maintained by a Senior Administrative <br /> Specialist in the Administration Division; both City Recorders will need to serve as <br /> official custodians; contract managers (appropriate staff based on subject area) are <br /> responsible for any amendments/renewals. <br /> <br /> Community Relations/PIO: <br />Deputy Chief responsible for department representation in <br /> community; incident commanders remain responsible for on-scene PIO duty; PIO <br /> <br /> continues to handle all other PIO functions. <br /> <br /> Planning: <br />Chief of Department has signature authority on all planning documents and <br /> <br /> assigns tasks as appropriate. <br /> <br /> SOPs: <br />Personnel in all functional areas will need to examine all relevant SOPs for <br /> inclusion in a Metro SOP set, and will be responsible for normalizing those SOPs to <br /> apply to a merged department.
