Friends of Eugene has
contributed to the proposals at several earlier stages, and I continue support the
neighborhood association positions.
We won't be successful in growing densely in the core of our community unless
we vigilantly maintain the stability and quality of life in core neighborhoods. One
more reason why the voices of our hard-working volunteer neighborhood
associations are so very valuable.
with best wishes,
Kevin Matthews
Friends of Eugene
etc.
On Mon, 16 Nov 2009 15:58:16 -0800, PIERCY Kitty wrote:
> Everyone,
>
> Staff was trying to help with the flow of all the hearings we have to
> do today by suggesting combining the 2 items, giving you all a total
> of 3 minutes to talk about both items.
>
> People had prepared testimony for the 2 at 3 minutes each and are
> unhappy not to get their full time.
