ADMINISTRATIVE QRDER ND. 57-10-01 <br />of the <br />City Manager <br />City of Eugene, Oregon <br />IDENTIFICATION OF CITY-OWNED FACILITIES AT WIiICH <br />SMOHING IS PROHIBITED PURSUANT TO SECTION 6.230(2)(p) OF <br />THE EUGENE CODE,1971. <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Under the provisions of Chapter IV, Section 16 of the Eugene Municipal Charter <br />of 2042, the City Manager is designated as the, administrative head of the City, specifically <br />authorised to appoint, remove, and direct all employees except as otherwise provided in the <br />Charter}, and to enforce all ordinances of the City. <br />B. Dn February 8, 2010, Ordinance No. 204 1 was adopted amending Section 6.230 <br />of the Eugene Code, 1971, prohibiting smoking outside of city-owned buildings with a primary <br />purpose of providing services and programs to children under the age of 18. The Ordinance <br />directed that the City Manager adopt an Administrative Crder identifying specific facilities <br />covered by the smoking prohibition as provided in subsection ~2}gyp} of Section 6.2302} of the <br />Eugene Code,1971. <br />~n the basis of these findings, I order that smoking is prohibited in accordance with <br />subsection ~2}gyp} of Section 6.2~0~2} of the Eugene Code,1971, at the following facilities: <br />. 1. Downtown Eugene Public Library; <br />2. Amazon Community Center & Pool; <br />~. Echo Hollow Pool; <br />4. Hilyard Community Center; <br />5. Petersen Barn Community Center; <br />6.
