A summary <br />of the legislation from the committee and related fact sheet are included as attachments B and C. <br /> <br />Councilor Taylor and Mayor Piercy requested that this resolution be scheduled for council consideration <br />and action. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br /> <br />The council may adopt the resolution, amend the resolution or decline to adopt the resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The City Manager has no recommendation on this item. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br /> <br />Move to adopt Resolution 5003 in support of United States House of Representatives Bill 4812, the <br />Local Jobs for America Act. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />A.
