Regional Wastewater Asset Management Capital Program Another category of projects in the MWMC Capital Budget are those capital projects and capital purchases that are administered by the City of Eugene for MWMC, and which provide for major reconstruction, replacement, repairs, and purchases necessary to maintain functionality, lifespan, and effectiveness of existing facility assets. We call this the Asset Management Capital Program. Three sub-categories are included in the Asset Management category: a.Equipment Replacement – b.Major Rehabilitation – c.Major Capital Outlay – FY 10-11 Asset Management Capital Program Budget Equipment Replacement Program - Budget The FY 10-11 Capital Programs budget includes $105,579 in Equipment Replacement purchases, which are identified on the table below. The typical replacement schedule for electronic controls and communication devices range between 5-10 years. This replacement project will improve the reliability of the equipment used to track and process septage hauler information for record requirements and billing purposes. Pressure Washer – The pressure washer for the biosolids dewatering equipment has been service for 10 years and has reached the end of its useful lift.
