NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS FEE SCHEDULE To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020 and Chapter 3 of the Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to amend the Telecommunications Fee Schedule as follows: TELECOMMUNICATIONS FEE SCHEDULE Current Proposed Initial registration application fee, payable at time of Fee Fee application .............................. $515.00 $ 00 00 Initial Telecommunications Plan cost recovery fee, payable within 45 days of the end of the second quarter of the year following initial registration, with the annual gross revenues projected on the basis of the annual gross revenues during the initial six months: Discontinue $0 to $100,000 annual gross revenues ......................... $500.00 Discontinue $100,001 to $1,000,000 .............. ............................... $2,500.00 Discontinue $1,000,001 to $5,000,000 .......... ............................... $10,000.00 Discontinue $5,000,001 and over .................. ............................... $15,000.00 Discontinue Annual registration /license renewal .............................. $50.00 No change Private Communication System annual license fee ......... $2.00 /ft No change Appeal fee ............................... ............................... $500.00 No change The amendments are being proposed after evaluating the administrative costs involved in the initial registration application process. Removal of the initial Telecommunications Plan cost recovery fee is being proposed because the fees, originally implemented to recover the estimated costs associated with the development of the Telecommunications Ordinance, have been recovered and, therefore, the fee is no longer necessary. In determining the above proposed fees, the applicable policies, enactments and directives of the City Council, the amount charged for these services by the City in the past, the full costs of providing these services supported by the fees, the amounts charged by other comparable providers, and the revenue needs of the City as determined by the adopted City budget have been considered.
