ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 5S• -10 -06 of the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene ESTABLISHING A DELIVERY VEHICLE PARKING PERMIT PROGRAM. The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: .A*- Section 5.040 of the Eugene Code, 1971 (EC) authorizes the City Manager or the Manager's designee to take administrative action establishing parking area time limitations, including the form of permissible parking and imposing conditions upon which the streets and other public property may be used for parking. B. Administrative Order No. 58-09-14 delegated to the Traffic Engineer of the Public works Department the authority to exercise all of the duties and responsibilities specifically defined as those of the City Manger in EC 5.040 and 5.050. C. It is in the City's interest to facilitate economic activity, provide additional parking options outside of commercial parking spaces, and encourage legal use of the regulated parking system. On the basis of these findings, I order the establishment of a delivery vehicle parking permit program as follows: 19 - Definition A delivery vehicle is defined by one or both of the following criteria: a. A vehicle with a "T" license plate. The plate is issued by the state of Oregon. b. A vehicle bearing the name of the business displayed on at least the driver's side of the vehicle. This information may be either imprinted on the vehicle or on a commercially made sign (measuring no less than 12 inches in height and 12 inches in width.) 20' Parking ,Space Designation and Use Permitted vehicles may occupy a metered space for not more. than l 0 minutes without payment of meter fees. 3.
