From:Margaret Springer
To:*Eugene Mayor and City Council;
The new I-5 bridge
Subject:
Monday, July 19, 2010 5:58:37 AM
Date:
Hi --
Just wanted to say that I think the name Whilamut Passage is perfect
for the new I-5 Bridge. It's beautiful and honors the Kalapuya who
preceded us here. There shouldn't be any confusion between Whilamut
and Willamette -- it's obvious that the former name was derived from
the latter. Both names honor our collective history.
Margaret Springer, 1700 Jefferson Street, Eugene 97402
