<br />three Metro jurisdictions. The City of Springfield City Council unanimously approved these amendments <br />on July 6, 2010. The County Board of Commissioners is scheduled to act on August 18, 2010. <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />This matter is presented in response to a work plan approved by the Land Conservation and Development <br />Commission. There are no policy implications as the amendments reflect transportation projects that are <br />completed and based on the previously adopted County’s coordinated population forecast. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br /> <br />The City Council has the following options: <br /> <br />1.Adopt the proposed ordinance; <br /> <br />2.Adopt the proposed ordinance with specific modifications; <br /> <br />3.Postpone ordinance adoption; or <br /> <br />4.Deny the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />Any actions other than Option 1, approval, may require coordination with Springfield and Lane County <br />before the amendments would be effective. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The City manager recommends Option 1: adopt the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br /> <br />Move that the City Council adopt Council Bill # 5030, included as Attachment A, amending TransPlan <br />and the Metro Plan as set forth in Exhibits A and B of that ordinance, based on the findings of <br />consistency set forth in Exhibit C of that ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />A.
