Se otion 2. A hearing shall be - held upon the proposal t vacate <br />said street as herein - provided, and said hearing shall be held on the <br />9th day of November, x.977, at 1Z � 0 o lock' noon, Pacific Standard Time <br />of said day ■ at which time all persons will be heard upon objections <br />or suggestions with regard to the vacation of said street, and at said <br />time the Council will provide for the vacation of said street or deny <br />such vacati oa , and, in case the vacation is made., will provide and make <br />provi. s ion for any damages sustained by local assessment. <br />Section 3 . The City Recorder is hereby directed to immediately <br />publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper pub <br />l ished in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, no tice of the proposed vacation <br />Such notice shall `give the description of the. area to be vacated as <br />here set out; s tate the date when this ordinance was passed and the <br />name of any petitioners petitioning for such vacation; and the d=ate <br />when the said petition, together with the objections or remonstrances <br />which may be made 'in writing and f..led with - the Recorder of th City <br />of Rugene prior to the date of said hearing, wi l d. ' be heard and cons ide <br />Section 4. The City Recorder shall forthwith and within f ive day <br />after the f irst publication of said notice post. or cause - to be posted <br />at or near each end of said proposed vacation a 1 copy of the foregoing, <br />which shall be headed "Notice of street 'V'acation, " and which Notice <br />shall be posted in at least two conspicuous places in or on the area <br />proposed to be vacated. <br />The posting and the first -day of publication of such notice shall <br />be not leis than twenty- (28) days efore the time set r b or hearin <br />Passed by the City Council this Approved by the Mayor this <br />5th dap of October, 1977.
