EUGENE FIRE CODE <br />ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R- 8.010FC <br />R- 8.010FC -A ADOPTION. <br />The 2009 International Fire Code (IFC) as promulgated by the International Code <br />Council as adopted and amended by the State of Oregon as the 2010 Oregon Fire Code (OFC) is <br />hereby adopted, subject to the additions, deletions, and modifications set forth in this rule, which <br />together constitute the Eugene Fire Code (EFC). This rule is in addition to, and is not exclusive <br />of, Administrative Rule R- 8.005. References in this rule to "this code" are references to the OFC <br />adopted herein. <br />R- 8.010FC -B AMENDMENTS. <br />11 Section 101.2.1 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />101.11 Appendices specifically adopted. Provisions in the appendices shall not apply <br />unless specifically adopted. The provisions of the following appendices are adopted as part of <br />this code: B, C, D, K, L and M. <br />2. The text of Section 105.5 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br />1 05.5 Required operational permits. An operational permit as authorized by law or <br />regulation shall be obtained from the State Fire Marshal for the operations set forth in Sections <br />105.6A through 105.6E. An operational permit shall be obtained from the Eugene Fire Marshal <br />for the operations set forth in Sections 105.6B, 105.6C, 105.6E, 1 05.6.8, 1 05.6.13, 1 05.6.16, <br />105.6.20, 1 05.6.21, 105.6.26, 1 05.6.36, and 1 05.6.43. <br />30 The text of Section 1 05.6.20, which precedes Table No. 105.6.20, of the OFC is <br />amended to provide: <br />105.5.20 Hazardous materials. A permit shall be obtained from the Hazardous Materials <br />Regulation Section to store, transport . on site, dispense, use, or handle hazardous <br />materials in excess of the amounts listed in Table No. 1 05.6.20 or to install, <br />repair, abandon, remove, place temporarily out of service, close, or substantially <br />modify a storage facility or other area regulated by Chapters 27 through 44 of this <br />code when the hazardous materials in use or storage exceed the amounts listed in <br />Table No. 1 05.6.20. <br />a. Hazardous Materials - Permit Required. <br />A. No person shall store, use, handle manufacture, process, dispense, <br />and/or dispose of any regulated hazardous materials, as defined in <br />Section 2702. 1, without a valid permit. <br />Administrative Order - Page 2 of 9 <br />
