Call to Order and Review Agenda <br /> <br />Mr. Poling called the meeting of the Council Committee on Intergovernmental Relations (CCIGR) to order. <br /> <br />The committee accepted a recommendation from Ms. Wilson to review the first 11 bills on the list of <br />pending bills pulled by committee members and to postpone review of the remaining bills until the meeting <br />of February 9. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Review Pending Legislation <br /> <br /> <br />The committee reviewed a list of pending bills in the Oregon Legislature identified by members for further <br />discussion. Committee votes modifying the staff recommendation on legislation, if any, are recorded below: <br /> <br />House Bill 2712 (New) <br /> <br />Judge Wayne Allen reviewed the bill and recommended the committee take a position of Priority 1 Oppose. <br /> <br />Mr. Poling, seconded by Mr. Clark, moved to take a position of Priority 1 Oppose, on <br />House Bill 2712. The motion passed unanimously, 3:0. <br /> <br />Senate Bill 0307 (Carried over from 1/26) <br /> <br />Mr. Poling moved to take a position of Priority 3 Oppose, on Senate Bill 0307. The motion <br />died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Mr. Clark, seconded by Mr. Poling, moved to monitor Senate Bill 0307.
