She thanked the community, saying it had been a <br />wonderful experience and a privilege to serve. <br />VI. ADMINISTRATION OF OATHS OF OFFICE <br />Deputy City Recorder Sandra Stubbs administered the oath of office to Eugene City Councilors Alan <br />Zelenka of Ward 3, George Poling of Ward 4, Mike Clark of Ward 5, and Pat Farr of Ward 6. <br />VII. ADMINISTRATION OF OATHS OF OFFICE <br />Ms. Stubbs administered the oath of office to Eugene Water & Electric Board commissioners John Brown <br />of Wards 4 and 5 and John Simpson, at- large. <br />V. AWARDS AND RECOGNITION <br />Mayor Piercy recognized the following outstanding volunteers. <br />Community Awards <br />• Envision Eugene Community Resource Group —Rob Bennett, Shawn Boles, Kevin Matthews, <br />Lea Nelson, Sue Prichard, and Rusty Rexius were present on behalf of the Community Re- <br />source Group to receive the award. <br />• Courthouse Community Garden—Carmen Ford accepted the award on behalf of Judge Ann <br />Aiken and others involved. <br />Employee Recognition Awards <br />Mayor Piercy recognized the following employee teams for their work in 2010. <br />Climate and Energy Action Plan Team —Matt McRae accepted the award on behalf of the staff <br />team. <br />Youth and Family Recreation Team —Sandy Schaeffer accepted the award of behalf of the staff <br />team. <br />• Summer in the City Team — Billie Moser accepted on behalf of the staff team. <br />IV.
