NOTICE is hereby given that the following report made by W. H. Luckey, F.
<br />W. Osburn and L. N. Roney, viewers of the proposed sewer in the alley between
<br />Olive and Charnelton Streets, beginning at a point on the North side of Ilth Street
<br />and center of said alley, thence North along the center line of said alley to the
<br />manhole in the sewer on the South side of 8th Street, ~2;o ft. more or less. Was
<br />filed with B. F. Dorris, City Recorder, on the xbth day of July, ~899, and all per-
<br />sons interested in the construction of said sewer are hereby notified, that this notice
<br />is to remain published for ten days, and within six days from the expiration of the
<br />same, any and all persons objecting to the construction of said sewer are hereby
<br />notified and required to file their protests to the same in writing with the said
<br />city Recorder.

<br /> I, W. H. Luckey, F. W. Osburn and L. N. Roney, each for myself being first
<br />duly and separately sworn, say, that I will to the best of my ability view the center
<br />line (the same being the center of the alley) between Olive and Charnelton Streets,
<br />in the city of Eugene, commencing on the North side of I~th Street in said city,
<br />running thence North along the center llne of said alley between said Olive and
<br />Charnelton Streets to connect with a manhole in the sewer on the South side of
<br />8th Street, in said city; and also the location of the proposed sewer along and above
<br />said line and alley as proposed and provided in Ordinance No. 308, passed by the
<br />Common Council on the x2th day of June, and approved by the Mayor ou the 2otb
<br />day of June, and, I will to the best of my ability, determine what property is di-
<br />rectly benefitted by the said proposed sewer, and the extent and proportion of
<br />such benefits to and upon each lot, or part of a lot or acreage property, so directly to
<br />be benefifted compared with all other property benefitted; that I am not in any
<br />way related to any person interested in or who shall be affected by said sexver,
<br />nor have I any interest in any person who will be affected in said sewer, nor have I
<br />any interest in the same. That I am a resldent and freeholder in said city of Eu-
<br />gene; and that I am ~ member of the Street Committee of the Common Council of
<br />said city, and that said committee was duly designated and named by the Mayor
<br />and Council of said city to view said line of said proposed sewer. %V. H.

<br />the Street Committee of the Common Council of said city, and duly appointed by
<br />said Council on the .... day of .... ~899, to view the alley andthe proposed sewer
<br /> llne, commencing on the North side of ;~th Street, thence along tee center of
<br /> the alley between Olive and Charnelton Streets in said city to a manhole in the
<br /> sewer on the South side of 8th Street in said city, do hereby report as follows:
<br /> That on the [4th day of July, ~899, we met at the office of L. L. Stevens insaid
<br /> city, and after being duly sworn according to law, proceeded to view said alley
<br /> and proposed line of sewer, and to ascertain and determine what property would
<br /> be d~rectly benefitted by said sewer and the extent and proportion of the costs
<br /> thereof for tho building and constructing said sewer.
<br /> SEco~D:--That we find the following lots or fractional parts of Iota fronting and
<br /> abutting and adjacent on said proposed line of sewer on said alley between Olive
