Eugene, which <br />said bill. covers an appropriation from the County for $25,000,.and stated- <br />timt Rep..t[urd intended to move. tinct the bill.be s~ended so that one-half,of <br /> <br />the abova, namely $12,H00 be paid by the Oity of Ek~gene. ~. Strike~ moved <br />that the .01~y Attorney be inst~(:ted to take up the..~atteP with the proper <br /> <br />people i~ Salem, motion:seconded by ~. Hensill and ear,led. <br /> <br /> Er. Skipworth also called attention of ttle Council to the damage suits of Peter <br />Ashley fo~ ~,000 and Mr. Thomas for $3,250 filed against the City of ~lgene. <br />Upon.~motion by Mr. Warnock, seconded by. Nr. Bean the City Attorney w~s iustructed <br />to deformS_the suits. Motion ea~ied. <br /> <br />Mr, .Forneri submitted a .plan.for rem~berir~ houses and renaming streets <br /> <br />in the 0ity of k~gene, end asked the Council to pass an Ordinance covering the <br /> <br />proposed change. Upon.motion by Mr. ~?arnock, seconded by M~. }~etcalf the plan <br />fo~' renumb~ering was adopted and ,the~ City Attorney was instr~cted to~ b~.ir~, in an <br /> <br />Ordinance covering the same, and also for remaining the Streets. Hotion carried. <br /> <br /> Nr Svarverud of the Ek~gene Water Board at th~ime <br /> · saaddressed the Council <br /> <br />relative to the resolutiqn ~or.~100,Q00 Extension Bonds, which was referred back <br />to the Water Department at the meeting of~Feb~ua~ar lSth and asked..ti,~at the action <br />of the Council ~t the before mentioned meeting be reconsidered and that the <br /> <br />resolution'be placed uponthe b~llat at ti~e next G~ner~l Election to be held in <br /> <br />'the City of Eugene-on 'April 7, 1913. <br /> <br /> Ti~e following gentlemen addressed theCouneil and~exp~essed.their views <br /> relativ~ to s~ne: Hesses.
