Council met pursuant to adJourr~nent of the 12t, h in.~t., and was called to order by ~ayor Yoran. Present Councilmen t{en.~ill, Eoppe, .%~e.~,.~urphey, Dorr~ and Bell; absent Johnson, Bean an~i Striker. Ti~e bill of GSorgia Broder for ti~e mm3. of ,[~1.05 was reco]muended by ttle Sewer Co~nittee for pay~ne~t, and a motion was made .and seconded ~that the claim be a'llowed and a warrant drawn on tI~e General Fund for the sz~,, of $1.05. Ti~e ayes and nays were ~alled; Councilnen voting aye Hensill, Koppe, ~e~uz. phey, Dorr and Bell, nay none, absent Johnson, Bean and Striker. 5{orion wan declared carried and NO ordered. · A petition for a sewer in the alley between Jefferson and V~ast~ington Sts. from 22nd Avenue to tt~e Trtmk Sewer at 15th Avenue was read and referred to the Sewer Cm~itte e. Street . A petition for paving Charnelton from 0. & C. Right-of-Way~ south to llth Street wan read and ti~e Street Co~rmittee reco]~uended that the sa?.e be granted. Hotion wan seconded and.carried, and the Attorney instructed to draw an Ordinance for the same. ~ 'A resolution providi~ug for the appointme~lt of a Ct~arter Cor0uission consist- ing of the l~.{ayor, Council, City Attorney, City Recorder and City Er~ineer and such other per:sons as the !~ayor shall appoint wan read and a motion was made, seconded and carried to adopt the same. At tills time Councilmen Johnson and Striker appeared in C0uneil. General specifications for macadam streets .were sub.'~:itted by the City .... kh~gineer, and Councilman Bell moved to adopt the specifications and that the 0i~ ........ Attorr~ey aubmit some in ~orm of an 0rdinanee. Hotion was seconded and carried.
