N., and was called to .order by <br /> <br />Yo~an. Present Counei]n.~en Itensill, Johnson, Koppe, l{cl~{urphey, Doff, <br /> <br />Bell and Bean; absent Striker. <br /> <br /> Cotu%ei]~an Bean stated that_all, bids received, for the "Extension <br /> <br />Bonds" were for less than par and Strut in the opinion of the Co%moil, after <br /> <br />conference with 5{embers of the Water Boa~d, it was not advisable to <br /> <br />award the bonds at this tine, and moved that all of ti~e bids received be <br />rejected and ti~e bonds not awarded an~ ti~e Recorder i~t~tn~cted to return <br /> <br />all of the checks to bidders. Motion seconded and carried. <br /> <br /> l{otion was made, seconded and carried that ti~e Co,moil adjourn <br /> <br />to meet November 3, 1913, at 7:30 o'clock P. <br /> <br />Council Ci~ambers, E~ene, 0regon~ November 3, 1913. <br /> <br />Council met pursuant to adjour~ent of October 28ti~, and was calked to <br /> <br />order by Hayer Yoran. Present Co%u~oilmen Hensill, Johnson, }Iel~.urphey, Ilorr, <br /> <br />Bell and Bean; absent Koppe and Striker. <br /> <br /> Ttte ~esignation of F. J. Berger as a 3~ember of the Park Board was read <br /> <br />and on motion accepted. <br /> <br />Petitions for street lights at intersection of 8ti% Avenue and A.lnnaden <br /> <br />Street, at intersection of 16th & Patterson Streets., at the intersection of 15th <br /> <br />and Fer?y Streets and at the intersection of 3rd and Blair Streets were read and <br /> <br />referred to the Fire & Water Committee. <br /> <br /> Bill of Applewt~ite ~ Stein for balance of 5 per cent held back on 0rdinanc~, <br />i#1~02 College Hill Sewer~ ~15!.38, was r~co.~aended for payment on the abutting <br /> <br />iproperty fund, and the bill of tt~e Trunk Sewer extension crew, ~.ountir~; to. <br />~227.90 was reeo~.~mended for payment out of tt~e Trunk Sex~{er fund, witt~ recommend-- <br /> <br />ation tI~at ti~e full amotu%t be drawn to H.
