Present Councilmen Hensill, Joimson, Mctlurpt~ey, Doff, and Beytien; absent Koppe, Bell and Bean. Bills of Ezt[~ene Iron Works for ~/5.00, J: C. l{acy for ~60.00 on the General Fund, Cla~k & Henery Construction Co. for $k75.80 on the Road .~¢ Street . I.kmd and C. H. }{aha~ky for $123.2~ on ti~e Ordinance No ~ Sewer Improvement Fund were presented, and a motion was made and seconded that the bills be allow- ed and warrants dravm therefor. The ayes and nays were o.a!led; Councilmen voting aye tiensill~ Johnson, }.{cHurphe¥, Dom', and Beytien, nay none, absent ~ Koppe, Bell and Bean. tlotion was declared carried and so ordered. Request of i% A. Rm~kln to make alterations and'.repair~ to his music sto~9 ' buildi~ on West Sixti~ Street was reeo~aended [~anted by the Fire & Water Cmm- ~ ittee, and on notion ti~e recommendation was adopted. At ti~i:~ time Councilmon Bell-appeared in Core,oil. l{emon.'~trance against the paving of t{ill Street between lOti~ and 13th Avenues, and a petition requesti~g the Council in passi~w~ an Ordinance for the' paving o~ Tentt~ Avenue West From Olive to lfonroe Streets to provide for a k inch concrete base with 2 inch wearin~ surface, and a remonstrance against the pav- ing of Alder Street from Ninth Avenue South to 1.{illrace, and a remonstrance against ti~e paving of ~,{oss Street from '?nirteentt~ Avenue to Faim?.ount Boulevard~ and a remonstrauce against ti~e paving of West Tentt~ Street with i~ard surface paving, and a remonstrance against the p~.ving of West Eigi~tt~ Avenue from Blair Boulevard to Chambers Street, were read and referred to the Street Committee. Petition for street ligi~ts at the corners of Hilyard and 17th, 16th and f 15tt~ Avenues was read and referred to the Fire & Water Cmmittee, Due notice l~avl~u~ been ~;iven by'publication that obJection~ to the in-- stallation of an ornamental lighting system on Olive Street from Sixth to Ninti~ Avenues inclusive wo%~d be ~ueard at this time, objections were e~lled for and none heard and none havi~g been filed, it was declared that there was no objections ti~ereto. Furt!~er consideration of the Ordinance was deferred ',untll the next meetin~ of the Council. An Ordinance to improve Fora'th Avenue from ti~e we:~t line of Charnelt0n Street to the east line of Blair Boulevard was read ti~e third ti~e and placed upon its final passage.
