M. ~lotion was ~fnade, secor~ted and carried that the Core,oil do now adjourn to meet Feb~tary 2~th, 191l~, at -/:30 o'clock P. M. Council Oi~a~.bers, Eugene, Oregon, February 2[[, !91l~. Com~eil met~_ pursuant to adJour~]nent of the 23rd inst., and wa:~ called to order by I~{ayor Yoran. Present Councilmen I{ensi!l, Jo!rosen, Koppe, !~lcI-;Iurpt~ey, Dorr, Bell, Bean and~Beytien. Chair~an Bean of tl~e Finance Co~:~:~.ittee reported that the Finance Corrmittee had exm'nined the bids for tt~e ¢100 ,000 . 00 "~xtension Bonds" and reco~¢x~.ended ttmt the bid of R.. }4. Grant &_ Co..be accepted. Councilman I{onsill moved tt~a't the Council now finds and determines ti~at the bid of R..~.. Grant & Co. for the p~trchase of ~100,000.00 City of kh~xene "Extension Bonds" is the lowest and beat bid received for. the purci~ase of .said bonds and ~tt~at tt~e Council now accept their bid and award the sale of said bonds to said ~. 1~I. Grant & Co., and that all other bids be rejected and the Recorder instructed to return deposit cheeks to other bidders. T!~o motion '_ ..... was seconded by Counoi]~nan Boll 'and the ayes and nays were called; Councilmen voting aye tIensill, Joimso~l, Koppe, 1,le~urphey, Doff, Bell, Bean and Boytien~ nay none.
