An Ordinance ereati~ the Office of City Attorney, defining his duties and fixing his salary was read and' passed its second and third readiness by title under suspensfon of the rule and was-placed upon its final passage. H. Foster as City Attorney. Motion was made, seconded and carried that the Co~ei! confirm the appointment. ~otion was made and seconded that the Recorder be instructed to place ~r. O. H. Foster on tt~e regular montt~ly pay roll and ~aw a warrant on the General l,~nd in pa~ent of his salary at the time regular salaries are paid.
