RoberSson <br /> <br />Emily Potter <br /> <br /> Motion was made, seconded and carried that the appointments by the Mayor be <br /> confirmed by the Council. <br /> <br /> Motion was made and seconded that the Recorder continue to draw regular <br />monthly salaries for all of the Officers and employees of the City on the first <br />day of each month for the salary of the p~-evious month as heretofore, excepting <br />that beginning April l, 1916, the salary of Bertha Dor~-is is increased to <br />$50.00 per month, the salary of H. D. Forne~i is reduced to $150.00 per month <br />and the salary of W. H. Alexander is reduced to $85.00 per month, and the name.~ <br />of H. L. Traver, Gus Reams, R. E. l~vers and H. S. Pittman are dropped from the <br />pay roll after April 8th. The ayes and nays were called; Com~cilmen voting aye <br />8, na~ none. ~(otion was declared carried and so ordered. <br /> <br /> The Street Committee recommended "That all of the men in the street <br />dep~rtment who are discharged from service at this time be paid at once the <br />amount due them up to and including April 8th, ~nd that Mr. Gus Reams be allowed <br />two weeks additional pay for vacation which he is entitled to receive under the <br />usual custom, having been on regular pay roll for more than one year and <br />being the only member of the street force not allowed a vacation, and that the <br />Recorder and Mayor issue warrants in payment of all said employees." <br />Motion was made, seconded and carried to adopt, the recmmmendatlon of the <br />Street Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
