JULY 13,~1915. <br /> <br /> Council Chambers, ~ene, Oregon, July 13, 1915. <br /> <br /> Council met pursuant to adjournment of July 12th, and was called <br />to order by ~ayor'Bell. Present Councilmen Parks, Polders, Devereaux, <br />Nosher and Quimby, absent Councilmen Peterson and Goodpasture. <br /> <br /> Written report of the Street Com~ittee was read reco~:~ending that <br />the bid of the Olark& Henery Construction Co. was the lowest and best <br />bid for the paving of Lincoln Street from the North side of Fourth Avenue <br />to the North side of Third Avenue, and that the contract be let to said <br />Company, and that the Mayor and Recorder be instructed to enter into a <br />contract with said Company in accordance with ti~e Ordinances. Eotion was <br />made, seeo~%ed and carried to adopt the recommendation. <br /> <br /> On motion the consideration of the bids for the paving of the alley <br />between Oharnelton and Lincoln Streets from Eleventh to ~\velfth Avenues <br />was continued for consideration until the next meeting of the Council.~ <br /> <br /> Councilmen Parks, Chairman of the SeweP Co~littee, recon~%ended that <br />the contracts fop the construction of a sewer on La~ence Street from <br />Second Avenue to the alley West of Second Street, and for the construction <br />of a sewer in the alley between Ninth and Tenth Avenues from a point <br />opposite Lot 5, Block l, Wallis-Dor~is Addition to Polk Street be awarded <br />to the American Paving Co. Notion was made, seconded and carried to adopt <br />the report. <br /> <br /> Motion was made, seconded and carried that the Council adjourn <br /> <br />to meet Monday July 26, 1915, at 7:30 o'clock P. <br /> <br />City Recorder. <br /> <br /> <br />
